I qualified from the University of Brighton with a BSc (hons) Physiotherapy in 2008. Since then I have completed a course in western medical acupuncture and recently completed a Master's degree achieving a distinction.
Once qualified I completed junior rotations at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital before moving into a senior rotational post. I then decided to combine my love of travel with work and transferred my qualifications to Australia and New Zealand. This gave me the opportunity to work in a variety of settings. These included rural health in South Australia, neurological rehabilitation in Queensland and general rehabilitation Auckland City Hospital. On returning to the UK I continued my travels working as a locum physiotherapist across England, before returning to my home town of Hastings and joining the community rehabilitation team at Bexhill Hospital. In 2017 my St Leonards on Sea clinic opened it's doors for business, offering both community based and clinic assessment and treatment sessions.
My areas of special interest are; neurological disorders with special focus on stroke, MS and Parkinson's disease, treating muscular pain and dysfunction with myofascial trigger point releases and acupuncture for cancer symptom relief.
